Back in the early '40s, Jan Garber, "The Idol of the Air Lines," was leading a very successful sweet band. But after his daughter Janis told him that the kids thought his band was "square," Jan started swinging and brought Martha Tilton's younger sister Liz in as vocalist. This came as the recording ban began, so these 16 Lang-Worth transcriptions are virtually the only document we have of this period in Garber's career (Jan re-formed his sweet band after the war). Fascinating stuff! Includes I'll Be Around; the Same Little Words; San Fernando Valley; It's Love, Love, Love!, and more.
