When Stacey sang "What the world needs now is Love" on stage in Paris at her December 2015 concert at the Theatre des Champs Elysees, we thought how fitting this message of hope and healing would be, especially after the terror attacks in France. Her singing never let's us forget that these songs are about people. Whether it is "Rodgers and Hammerstein's "People will say we're in Love", Gershwin's "I've got a crush on you". Carole King's "You've got a friend" or any of the other dozen songs in this presentation, Miss Kent's interpretations are all the definitive article. She reminds us that here is a great jazz diva of our age.
