Ashk'farad - the combination of Ashkenazi and Sefardi musical worlds - the 2 sides of Jewish culture, energetic traditional Klezmer melded with beautiful, melodic and lyrical Ladino thus featuring music from both sides of the Jewish tradition, from Vilna in Poland to Salonika (today's Thessaloniki) in Greece, to Afula in Israel where the two customs become one.
